Poppy + Rose (Extra Credit)
This weekend Duke and I have been very busy. He has been studying for exams all weekend, while I have been extremely occupied catching up with Netflix. Although we had little time to spare, we decided to go for breakfast at Poppy + Rose on Sunday morning. The restaurant is always packed, but we got there right on time, before the line formed outside.
Duke wanted pulled pork hash, and I could not have breakfast without some pancakes, so we ordered those too. I was impressed with how good the hash was. The dish was crispy hash browns in a block, topped with pulled pork, scrambled eggs, and creme fraiche. Honestly, if I knew it would be that good I would have probably passed on the pancakes. Once we finished the hash browns, we were stuffed but still had three pancakes to eat. They were great too. After our nice little break, we came back home and have been working since.
